Mind the gap.
Going on holiday with Nigel is undertaken only with the understanding that he will stop every 10 to 15 seconds to take a photograph. Sedentary to the point of caricature in normal life - with a camera in his hand and away in a foreign country - he turns into action man. No location, obstacle or impediment will phase him. As we rushed to get on the Tokyo Metro, he shot out a warning arm, meaning - GET BACK YOU FOOL - I'M TAKING A SHOT. Crouching down he framed up, took the shot and then leapt onto the train. It was only as the doors closed that he realised I had not made it on there with him. I took the advise given on the platform. Do not rush... back to join your annoying husband, instead take a different train and a detour to Prada.
